This was recorded in 2014 and is an early demo.

The song was written in late 2013 before Murdryck was formed and was intially written for a band called Lucifer Incarnate. A band Giovanni and Adam was playing in at the time.

The band went nowhere pretty fast so Murdryck was formed and the two songs written for that band (Metamorphosis and The Ascension) were taken and completed as Murdryck.

Murdryck began life in 1999 as a Blackened Dark Ambient project.

In 2014 the band was rejuvenated and began its journey as a Black Metal band since the original roots of the music were based in black ambient.
